I had been meaning to get in touch with you ! Yes she is getting the hang of them for sure. It was a bit awkward at first as her little arm is so short compared to her other arm, it meant the reins were very high and this was making the pony turn to the left ! I actually brought her to a different instructor last week and had an individual lesson with him just to give her more time on her own (the normal lessons can have up to 6 children which means that she can only ride in very short bursts). This lesson went really well and the instructor was very happy with her and impressed with the reins. I will probably do a few more individual lessons until she really gets the hang of them i think.
