Alice Reins Helps 72 Year Old Lady Who Has Had A Major Stroke

Alice Reins are ideal for many people – including those who have suffered a major stroke.

Alice Reins Ideal For Major Stroke VictimsA lady called Liz Pears ordered a pair of Alice Reins through our website.  After receiving an order I then email the person to acknowledge their order, explain what happens next and thank them for ordering through Alice Reins.  I also ask them if they would kindly tell me why they have ordered Alice Reins and how they will help them so that this information could help others.

Usually I would hear from the buyer through e-mail, but on this occasion I didn’t hear anything at all other than the order was correct.  I wasn’t worried, I just thought that the buyer wanted their privacy – which is of course fine.

The reins were made and then sent to Liz.  I thought a lot about this order, as I do with all the orders, as I am genuinely interested in the people the Alice Reins go to.

A while went by and then suddenly Liz posted a post including a video to the Alice Reins Facebook page and this is what she sent:

Ruth Cooke, 73 this year, who suffered a major stroke in December 2012 resulting in loss of use of her right side. Ruth has worked hard to be able to ride again on Henry (25) but has always had trouble maintaining a hold on her right rein. We used the Alice reins today for the first time, and what a difference! Thank you so much!

Well done Ruth, such an inspiration!

Alice Reins Has Launched

Alice Reins Has LaunchedHello everyone. Alice Reins has launched and what a very exciting time it has been! We have been inundated with enquiries and orders which has been overwhelming.  We didn’t quite know what to expect but soon learn’t to expect the unexpected. We have found ourselves very quickly designing pairs of Alice Reins specifically for people with lesser grip and equally disabled riders with upper limb deficiencies.

It is very humbling to find just how many people out there who very much needed our reins.  We were engaging in conversations which were both enlightening and encouraging.  I am astounded at how so many talented riders were held back just because they were unable to grip properly or because they had only one hand.  We admire each and every one of you!Jacqui and Alice Edwards - Alice Reins Has Launched

Alice Reins are improving and even changing people’s lives giving much needed confidence and the feeling of “being safe”.

We are absolutely chuffed that Alice Reins has launched and with the initial interest and look forward to launching new products in the very near future!

We would like to thank Michelle Jones and her team at Ketchup Marketing Ltd for our wonderful website and their assistance from the start.
Thank you also to everyone who has liked and shared our Facebook page

My daughter Alice and I hope to help many more people with Alice Reins for many years to come.

Cheers and glass raised to the future 🙂
