Alice Reins are the ultimate solution for people who suffer from lesser grip due to Arthritis, Stroke, Carpal Tunnel and generally weak muscles. They give a much improved grip and also prevent the reins from slipping or being pulled out of the riders’ hands. Alice Reins Ltd is a family run business situated in the beautiful historic town of Stamford in Lincolnshire which is host each year to the famous Burghley Horse Trials 3 day event.
We fully understand that not all riders have the same needs or disabilities. For example some riders may require just one loop or perhaps two depending on their circumstances.
In view of this we offer a Custom Made Service where we would endeavour to design a pair of Alice Reins to suit your individual needs and requirements so that you too could realise your dream and be able to ride.
To enquire about Our Custom Made Service please call us on 01780 751976 or 07734 566861 or send us an email outlining your requirements.
These reins would be an ideal teaching aid for young children, or novice riders of all ages. They are fixed in the correct individual contact for walk, trot and canter.

The original Alice Reins were designed by myself for my daughter Alice who was born with just one functional hand so that she would be able to realise her dream and ride a pony.
